So as im rummaging thru the boneyard the other day looking for a tranny for my 91 CRX si I came across this little gem. I hate to see a car in such good shape wasting away in the boneyard although it worked out great for me. I got me a long overdue ashtray and some new door trim, ya know the big plastic rectangles that go on the doors. I got a bunch more stuff I want to get off of it but I can only use so much. Mine is a 91 Si and this is an 88 hf I think plus its an automatic. If anybody needs parts off it let me know. Ill be back out there soon. Its in a u pull it yard to so the parts are basically free...........I paid $62 for a transmission. All there trannys are $62 and all engines are like $194 weather its a brand new Civic or a 72 pinto wagon.

 

Nice of you to offer your help, but that's not what I'd call 'such good shape.' It's pretty bad. Also it's an auto Dx...I had one for a parts car and couldn't give it away.

 

Well nice is a relative term, in this case I'm referring to the fact that it's a complete car that hasn't been wrecked. At least it was complete the first time I saw it. For someone restoring a crx to factory condition this is a God send. The paint is nasty but there's not a dent in it other than the hood and of course no rust since its in south Alabama. I'd love to have the whole car. Hell my crx si was in about that shape when I got it. It's just a shame that a blown engine took it off the road instead of a wreck. Such a simple fix for such a rare car.
