Default Vibration on acceleration help

Hey guys, I just finished putting in new rotors and pad on my 95 Accord LX, using mostly hand tools. Now when I hit the gas pedal, the car shake a bit and stop at steady speed. I wonder if I didn't get the hub and the bearing in enough that might have cause this shaking or is there something else?

Vibration under accelleration is usually axle related. Never heard of rotor/pads causing vibration except under braking conditions. If it were a warped rotor it would do it mostly under braking.

check your CV shafts. go to a open area and turn lock to lock and listen for a clicking sound or feel for large amounts of play in the shaft by hand

Also, have you replaced your axles lately?
Reason I asked is because I used autozone axle's and they were not balanced, resulting in a shake around 1.5-3000 RPM's. Also, is your car a auto or manual?

Are you saying that Autozone axles are never balanced, or yours specifically were not balanced? I am using Autozone axles myself as well and believe I am experiencing the same issue. More info would be of great help!

I installed 2 different sets from autozone and they both had the vibration. My car is also a manual.
I switched to Raxle axles (which were more $$$) and didn't have the issue anymore.
It seems that the manuals are more sensitive to unbalanced axles than the automatic transmissions.
I have installed autozone axles on automatics and have had 0 issues.

Wait, I just installed a new axle on the passenger side, could that one be the unbalance one? How do I find out? I told my mechanic on my issue, he said the driver side is bad. Is there a way to test out?

I don't know if there is a way to test for a unbalanced axle, but once I installed my 2nd set from the same place, that was my clear indication.

I'm having the same issue right now with my eg. I heard that the pilot bearing could cause this. Could anyone confirm this?

One of the mechanic i went to today, said it the half shaft bearing went out, but when lifted up, the half shaft does not have any movement went shaking around. Could it be the transmission is going bad that cause this?
