So I recently traded my b16 swap for a rebuilt lsvtec and after the install I was running my same p30 Ecu and it wouldn't hold an idle and then rev up to about 5k and then drop down and die...
I swapped in my dads chipped p28 Ecu with a stock p30 basemap and it idles fine and runs alright I know I need a tune but I'm curious as to why the ecus run it differently..

 

how well does the p30 work on other cars?

 

I havent had a chance to try it in another car yet..

 

so for all you know the ecu has a problem
