help asap fuel pump wont prime
hi guys i need help asap just wired a bosch044 there is also a walbro 255 intank tried to start the car but the pumps wont prime i took the signal for the 044 from the main relay pin 4but when i put a test light on pin 1 the pumps prime i cant figure it out
If pump(s) prime when you put a test light to pin one, [I assume that must be the ECU/ECM fuel pump relay control lead terminal, green/blue lead] and what you are doing with the test light is supplying a ground, [low current] to the fuel pump relays coil.
This would indicate the PGM-FI Main Relay is working, test for power, [with ign. switch on] at the injectors, [lead that is the same color on all four injectors] to confirm injector relay is working.
If there is power at the injectors check for power at IGP1 and IGP2 at the ECU/ECM, the leads will be the same color as the injector power leads and will be the only two leads at the ECU/ECM that are that color. 94
