f20bs prone to valves dropping?
literally every video on youtube, every build thread i see, or shops who have done the swap said they all ended up dropping a valve... prone to it? what could be the reason why? the stock valve keepers or something? besides this problem they seem like pretty badass engines.
You are correct there is something there far as the valves... however I think most of it is those who understand it can handle a lil more rpm and taking it to 20k rpm.
yea. i guess my theory is that the head was originally designed for a slightly lower revving h22 and i think that with the f20b design it really tested the stock oem integrity of the head when peopel rev them to 8200, unless someone disagrees with anything i just threw out there. how do you think you would solve this issue? aftermarket valve set?

From what I've seen, most people don't even know seat and open pressures of their springs, much less installed or coil bind height. They think everythinig is just drop in and rev to the moon. It's rarely that simple.
