NY FS/FT BMW 540i Sport 6spd (Dinan 5)
I am considering selling my Titanium Silver with black leather interior 540. I recently acquired in a few months ago, but my circumstances have changed so the car is up for sale/trade. I am looking for $7,900 obo, but am negotiable. I'm really listing it on Hondamarketplace for the chance to partially trade my car for a complete B series engine and transmission plus cash (I know its a longshot). My commute to work in the city is not ideal for a v8 sedan, so I'm looking for a B swap for my 1g CRX.
Specifically I'm looking for a B18c1 or ideally a b18c5 plus cash, but would consider any vtec b series plus the right amount of cash. Engine must be stock, legit (I'm not interested if you don't have papers), lower mileage the better, and never boosted. Transmission MUST have an lsd (oem or aftermarket) and in excellent working condition (no grinds, popouts, etc.).
The car has 153k miles. The overall condition is good. It does not look brand new, but it doesn't look 13 years old either.
I am the 3rd owner of the car. I purchased it in 2012 from the 2nd owner and 2nd owner purchased it from the original owner in 2005. The original sowner serviced the car at the dealer and at Motor Works West. I have had all service performed at Motor Works West. I have all paperwork on the car going back to the original window sticker.
The car is really a beast. It puts out about 330hp & has a ton of low end torque. The E39 chassis is a modern classic that handles incredibly well. It can go from 60 to 90 as fast as it goes from 0 to 30. Drop down into 4th gear on the highway and there is very little that you cannot pass.
It is not badged as a Dinan 5, but it does qualify for the badge & I have the paperwork to verify this.

Fresh oil change with German Castrol and OE Mahle filter
OEM Luk clutch kit with bearings
16inch BMW wheels with dunlop MS3 snow tires available in addition to or in place of the style 32's with summer tires. Depends on price
The Bad (See pics in the gallery):
Front DS fender needs bodywork, does not impact driving the car at all
Rear cup holder is shot
Some dead pixels on the instrument cluster display
Passenger seat SRS sensor is acting up (common issue), have fabricated the resistor bypass as per the tutorial but have not installed it yet (will be included)
Needs an alignment
Car has treated me extremely well over the course of my ownership and hasn't given me a problem besides the original clutch letting go at 148k. Car is up to date on maintenance and I have all maintenance records from MotorWerks West as well as the rest of the cars paperwork dating back to the original window sticker. Feel free to pm me with any potential trades or offers.
Feel free to pm or email me for more info and pics (will try to get some recent ones up as soon as possible)

Don't let the mileage fool you, the car has no creaks or rattles and is fully up to date on maintenance. Literally everything has been gone over and addressed correctly under my ownership or by the PO (with receipts).
