To add a little info I have a 96 obd2 Honda prelude si, with a H23a vtec, and a p06 that has been chipped already, but not sure Wat was used to tune it. After the swap the ecu has a code 9. I've had the wires from the crank senior wired to the dizzy, the dizzy itself has been change and I still have a code 9.
Sorry didn't add this first time I was busy at work so I threw that out there real quick

Chipped ecu's are generally junk because nobody knows exactly what they are or how they were setup. Regardless it sounds like you probably have a wiring problem.
Which dizzy are you running?
