D15b-Vtec non-vtec how much power?
I have a frankenstein crx dx that has a d15bvtec motor, unknown distributor( I think it is a gen2 crx si) unknown obd-0 computer and nothing currently to activate the vtec solenoid. I have compared it to a stock 1990 crx dx and mine is much quicker all around. Any idea what kind of power I should expect from this motor despite having nothing vtec related? Btw, I do have ebay special headers and 2 1/4" exhaust and no cat..... all as a result of a nasty run in with a deer...
I am just curious really. I use this as my mpg machine that I just happened to have put a ton of suspension work into. It is my daily driver go-kart. I get 37mpg in spite of my beating the hell out of it and have gotten 53+mpg hwy if I try.
Thanks for your best guesses and educated info!

Hah, my kids used to force me
to watch it after they got home off the bus in the 90's... That and Transformers, G.I. Joe, and the likes. The video is actually an Internet sensation (or at least was) in the Forced Induction Forum. So I just saved the link for stupid threads just like this one.
