h22a4 in 95 accord
ok guys so i had bought a stock junkyard motor because it was only supposed to have 98k on it. well yea while replacing seals i saw that the timing belt had been snapped so im getting my money back tomorrow and i found a h22a4 full swap from a reputible local guy who mainly builds b swaps. ive been googling for over 3 hours now and cant find a blunt enough answer. ive read not to buy it if it has atts because of the bolt difference on the tranny side. i need to know exactly why not to buy this motor. ive went thru the faq's so i know i need a few things from a prelude which shouldnt be too hard to find but how can i tell if its an atts model or not. i see what it stands for but what is it exactly?
You cant use the m2u4 if its the tranny i am thinking it is and I think its out of a prelude sh.
Your f22 tranny will work but you will drop out of vtec between shifts so your car wont be as fast.
a H23 m2s4 or h22 tranny will be best m2f4. I think its m2f4 but I am not to sure. It will be the best and its lsd.

we can close this thread, the guy wouldnt let me compression test the motor before handing him the cash so he can suck a fat one. it was the SH model anyway
