Icon2 Civic EG9, B16A2 to JDM B18C swap

Hello, my B16A2 177.000miles on it (still going strong...) and I want to swap it out for a JDM B18C. Afaik the motors are the same, except for deck height and the fact that the B18C was in an OBD2 car. So my question is, would it be sufficient with a B18c longblock, an OBD2-OBD1 harness and the ECU? I already have a transmission with LSD so I see no point in changing it, ITR transmissions cost too much anyway...
Sorry if this question has been asked before, but all I could find was D- to B-series swaps, as it seems nobody has the B-series stock in the states!

Also I'm looking to buy a cheap JDM B18C maybe in need of a rebuild?

use your stock ecu/ engine loom /sensors with a piggyback chip to fine tune - mine runs perfect like this
