I have 89 crx hf with 89K and I need a camshaft. this motor is the 8 valve variety. Can anyone help?? I will pay shipping and reasonable amt. thanks

 

damn um hf motors are rare whats wrong with you cam???? and best bet is getting a 16 valve head from any d series non vtec and slap it on

 

hey king, thanks for the reply. the woodruff keyway broke a piece of metal out causing the timing gear to have slack. It took a while to find out what the problem was. I did not realize the hf motors have a hollow camshaft and are 8 valve.

I really like your suggestion. Matter of fact I have a stock head off an 88 DX. I don't suppose that would have any bearing on the cpu?? I.E. amount of fuel going into two intake valves instead of one. I really do appreciate your reply. The reason I go on this site is to get comments to help mainain the vehicle while going for 500K. I would appreciate your comments to the above. thanks again. crxpoor
