Default kristianhay's 1992 B18C1 Civic EG

I don't know how often I'll be updating this thread as my progress is slow, but I thought I'd make a thread for myself - if it interests anyone, great!

Guess I'll start this thread out with a little history of my cars.

My first car was a 1990 EF hatch, automatic but overall, it was in good condition. I didn't keep it very long as it started blowing smoke so I quickly got rid of it. I also wanted a manual transmission, so that was another reason why.

When I found this black EG for $3000, I got super pumped and bought it without really having a lot of knowledge about cars just yet. I didn't bring anyone along with me either, and it was more of an impulse buy than anything.

It was pretty much stock, lowered a bit, had a fart cannon on it and LS meshies.

I ended up getting a bunch of things for it - JDM Recaros, Kosei K1s, Spoon Rep spoiler, Momo steering wheel, smoked corners, Spoon front strut, C-pillar, Skunk2 Shift ****, ITR shift boot and a stock exhaust. I was happy with the car, and it lasted me a while. I ended up selling it after an incident freaked me out and I never felt as safe in the car after that.

Having learned quite a bit at this point - I took my time in finding my next car. Initially I was looking for an EK or SiR, but one of my favorite local EGs was put up for sale and I couldn't resist. I bought rikaro's B18C1 EG hatch, and it's my current car!

Day of purchase:

And a little shoot.

After driving to Kamloops and back with the Spoon exhaust, I couldn't do it anymore. Someone stole the silencer which only made matters worse, and I decided to go back to stock for the time being.

Just did a tune up of distributor, spark plugs, etc so it's running fresh. Also fixed an annoying exhaust leak. Planning on getting some wheels next!

I'll keep this updated whenever I can/remember.

Finally got around to fixing my lock today. For about 6 months the driver side door hasn't been locked and I have been too lazy to fix it. A buddys car just got stolen so I decided it was time haha!

I may also have a chance to pick up some BBS RA's within my budget, any thoughts on that? I was thinking about painting them white. Quick shop.

Thinking about getting a coin/cup holder! Easy mod to do?

Also cleaned the engine bay!
