Default Stock CTR/ITR basemap for USDM P28 ECU

Hi,

I'm looking for a stock basemap for a CTR engine (I know an ITR basemap will also work) for a modded P28 ECU. Any links? I tried PGMFI.org BIN vault and I got one for a stock ITR for a P30 ECU (CROME), transferred the mapping to a P28 basemap with CROME and the engine ran like s**t.

Thanks

You don't have to run the p28 base code. Try the p30 base with knock turned off. Xenocron has a basemap file on his site also.

I tried with the original P30 from Xenocron. Still running bad. I've tested the P28 ECU on my B20VTEC (with my tuned setup) and it ran like a charm. I know for a fact that the ECU and the wiring for the engine is good. I just can't get a proper basemap for it.

All basemaps for the most part suck a costume tune is always better. I you invest in a wideband, chip burner, dataloger and I assume you already have a laptop maybe its time to look into tuning yourself if no one is in your area.

Exactly, a custom tune is always the best (what I did with my car). I'm in electronics, that's the reason I have a chip burner and the skills to mod ECUs. I sold a modded P28 to somebody, I told him I would put a ITR basemap for him to run the car to the tune shop (45 minutes drive). Having the time and more knowledge with either eCtune or Crome, I would do it myself. Maybe later when I finish university...
