I just got a '01 Civic LX, and it turns out I dont have the Keyless Entry Module. I tried looking at the junkyards but none of the civics have the module, but what i'm wondering is, since I have seen a lot of Acura ELs there, would their module work in a civic, since both cars are pretty much the same? Thanks.

 

Does your car have power door locks and do they work and just does not have the keyless entry unit? 94

 

Yes it came with power locks and they work, it just doesn't look like it has the unit.

 

Anybody know?

 

I am guessing it is the same part as the Honda Civic and Acura EL are the same car, different badging. 94
