92 Civic: How do I remove a/c reciever/dryer?
hello all,
i have a 1992 honda civic hatchback 1.5L engine, im looking to change my drier for ac system. i can see where it is located but how do i get to it? does the front bumper have to come off? ive searched the site but have had zero luck on how to change it. does anybody have a write up or or scans of the factory repair manual or any advise they can offer on how to get to it? thanks in advance for any or all help. Jon

well first you need to drain the system. and don't just unhook it and let it go.

the system is already empty due to a hole in the evap core, which is has just been replaced.

well i'm not an AC girl or anything but on the driverside behind the headlight, theres a silver canister down in the frame. that should be the accumulator/drier.
