my 2004 civic si says it has a 6 disc changer but it will not exceed 1 disc any ideas what is going on?

 

Are you trying to load the discs into the player in the dash? If so the changer is located in the trunk area and should have a cartridge with it

 

I am trying to enter it into the dash CD deck do I insert them into the changer in the truck if I can find it or into the dash?...

 

I believe the deck lists 6-disc on it, showing that it is capable of controlling a disc changer but you need a disc changed to be able to have multiple discs loaded at once. The disc changer is usually located in the trunk, connected to the deck via a cable and has a magazine/cartridge that you load the discs into, then as you select the disc you want from the deck the changer loads that disc and is ready to be played.

This is just from my general understanding of cd disc changers, I've only had my 04 Si for a week

 

So I need to go buy a disc changer? Or does it come with one in the trunk I have to insert the CDs in.. thanks for the respond have been trying to figure this out for like a month.
