The sound seems to be coming from the front right corner right under the valve cover. Not totally for sure but with the hood popped and reving it. That's what im thinking. It doesn't seem to effect the performance but really annoying seeing how everytime i step on the gas the ticking starts. It does do this in park as well. Anyone have an idea on what this could be? What it would take to fix it? How much it would cost to fix it? Thanks.

 

when is the last time you did a valve adjustment?

 

The engine was recently swapped maybe 2 months ago. He took it apart replaced the water pump, fuel pump and most of the seals. I have no idea if he did a valve adjustment or not. Guessing that is the cause? How much would it cost to get them adjusted?

 

You can do it yourself, it's very easy. Do a search on here, and on youtube.
