Default Civic doesnt roll like it should

When I had the car on jack stands, I spinned the wheel and it stopped like there was resistance, what is the problem? Also, when I started the car on jack stands, the wheels would spin when in neutral (5 spd) is this normal as well? I could stop the wheel with my hand when it started to spin.

Thanks

You're right there looking at it. Where does the binding seem to be coming from? Brakes? Bearing?

I have a feeling its the brakes. The pedal is super soft, Ive been wanting to change them and bleed the whole system. Can you tell me what would be the easiest and cheapest way to convert my civic to rear disc?

Theres going to be some resistance the brakes should drag alittle and yes the wheels spining on jack stand happens..

Cheap and easiest way ... just leave your drum brakes on.. Theres toms of write ups on how to do it and what you need.. your looking at like 4 to 5 hundred to do it correctly

The front wheel has resistance? check the pad, if they are more worn on one side than the other then you most likely have a stuck caliper. Buy a new one. bleed the brakes.

The hell are you smoking? You can do a full rear disc conversion, with proper parts, for <$200.

OP, if you want to do a rear disc conversion, get the rear trailing arm assembly out of either a DC, or an EM1, as well as the e brake cable from the donor car. That includes the rear trailing arms, calipers, caliper brackets, and wheel hub assy. You can find them on eBay if you're willing to search long enough, for $150-$250. Alternatively, start junk yard diving.
