Icon2 Oil Psi seems to be stumping me.

I have an ls/vtec with a b16 head, changed oil pump yesterday to a 96 gsr pump, and still max i see on my gauge is 50 psi. Using 10w30 valvoline non synthetic oil. I do have an external oil cooler and an endyn breather setup but i dont think that could lower psi that much right?!

oil lines go like so.....

sandwich plate feeds vtec and oil cooler, sending unit feeds turbo and oil pressure gauge

what rpm's and oil temp matter a little here. what oil pressure when fully warmed up at idle and at 3000rpm. minimum 10psi at idle and 50psi at 3000rpm when fully warmed up. using standard weight oil.

No oil leaks, good compression, good oil level. Confused

how much air flow does your cooler get there? maybe move it to the front grill area. Did you read my first post about oil pressure readings?

still haven't answered my question as to what type of gauge your running, just said the model, is it electric or mechanical? and instead of posting a pic of the cooler, which is completely useless, find out what size of line you have running to it, also any type of elbows at all feeding the gauge?

mechanical gauge, no elbows feeding the gauge, straight off of a tee in the sending unit, i will find out what size the line is

just read a post and someone said that taking the breather box out will cause loss in pressure and no pcv valve? But pcv valves arent good for boost? help!

I lol'd hard when i seen that oil cooler. I'm sure placing it on your passenger seat would work just as well.

So my tuner just came and enabled vtec just in case my gauge was getting a fudged up reading and it is actually losing pressure over 5k rpms. Would this be from feeding everything? I'm thinking of just taking the oil cooler off. Anyone know the size of the plugs for sandwich plate off the top of your heads?
