Default problem with clutch (h22 act)

Long story shortt bought a 94 accord with a built h22 non running....tore it apart rebuilt iit and put it back in and went to start it and it lunged forward....so replaced the slave and master and still lunges.....so decided to try some things and when i put in a 3/4 inch spacerbetween the slave and clutch fork clutch works fine....seems like the slave should work that far but doesnt only goes in and out about an inch....anyone have any ideas

You sure you don't have air in your clutch line? Try bleeding it.

I bleed it close to 10 minutes....it does seem like theres air but the bubbles stoped after the first 5 minutes....seems odd becuase the pedal is sooo soft untill i added spacers and it seemed normal....isthere a shorter or longer slave cylinder from accords to preludes....im almost to the point of just making a bracket to move the slave over 3/4 of an inch

Did you attempt adjusting the push rod from the pedal? That was my concern. Once you adjust it make sure you bleed again.

if its soft it has air in the line. get a suction pump from the parts store (loaner tool) and then use that to bleed the line.
