Default oil pressure, where to read in a remote filter system

This ought to be an interesting question, but when you run a remote filter, where in your opinion is the best point to measure pressure for the gauge? In my case I have oil pressure coming into the filter then existing the filter, crossing over into the oil thermostat for the cooler and then back to the engine, in a normal setup of course it would be measured right above the filter, but with the filter mounted remotely, this would mean measuring at the filter itself, in my case my remote filter has crossover ports for inlet and outlet, I was simply going to run my line to my distribution block for my gauge and pressure switch, and run it right off of the outlet side of the filter, I would think if there was ever a filter issue this would show the drop at the most critical point, I run a remote blower for the oil cooler and am using a Derale thermostatic switch< i had it mounted inline on the thermostat,But I'm also thinking of mounting it on the inlet side of the filter, There seems to be a lot of debate on where to measure oil temps, so this is another one, I would think that would be where the oil coming out of the pan is hottest. I would like to hear others opinions on where they have measured pressure and temp in a remote setup like this. For the naysayers and trolls,********* etc, who seem to put everything I build down, The filter HAD to be moved, I had to fabricate a throttle spring plate for the SU's, and this would have kept me from being able to remove the factory location filter. I was able to source a larger remote filter base and this also gives me extra oil capacity with the larger filter

Oh I have to give a thumbs up to the folks at Derale, somehow the tiny threads on the oil temp switch snapped off, it was a brand new switch, I called them up and they didn't even hesitate to get another one on the way to me. I used their switch and oil thermostat
