Default 95 honda accord ex v-tech

hey everyone im new at this so please bare with me i have a 95 honda accord ex v-tech f22b1 i think not sure i know its an f22 though i need help putting on a intake i took the oem off and there is this little black box above the motor had mount i had to take it off the intake it also has a wire that hooks up to something what is that and can i remove it thank you

That black box is a vaccume thing that silences the air charge i beleive. I removed the box but left the silinoid hooked up i just tucked it down somewhere so i didnt get a check engine light. Also i followed thay vaccume hose back to the throttle body and blocked it off with a plug removed the airbox also it gets in the way. And on my car i had to ziptie my battery forward alittle it was right in the way for one if my bends. Go look at my pics you can see. I can tell u what pipe you need if u dont already have it

You can completely remove the resonator (vacuum thing) and it's solenoid without throwing a code (check engine light). The air intake resonator is not part of the PGM-FI control system. Make sure to plug any vacuum ports (hose barbs/connectors) that you disconnect and you will be good to go.
