ok i do not know if this is the right place to make this thread if is not mods feel free to move the thread.

ok so here is the deal about a week ago i got rear ended so far the insurance companies (both mine and the other girls) are calling my car a total loss because it had minor frame damage the thing is that i have a b16 swap not a d series i talked to the adjuster about this and he said i would need to show proof of how much the swap goes for in the market and such but now my friends are telling me not to say i have a swap because since im gonna keep the car(not gonna sell it to the insrance company) when they do all the math they are gonna give me less money in return since they are gonna take in count that im keeping the swap so here is the question should i let the adjusters pay me the car at bluebook value or should i go ahead and show the proof for all the modifications done to the car in an effort to get a bit more compensation but without backfiring on me

 

I never heard of an insurance company keeping more money from clients just because of them having a swap, all they will do is have you pay the salvage title fee's and paperwork.
