will the throttle body (not the iacv sensor) from a d16y8 auto manifold work / fit on a d16y8 manual manifold? I'm just referring to the throttle body itself.

How about the iacv valve? different from auto to manual?

 

yes they are different, auto is 3 wire and manual is 2 wire and they also look different and mount differently. Manual mounts on the back of the intake manifold while auto mounts onto the bottom of the throttle body.
