So i bought this car a couple months back and when i bought it the cruise control wasnt working and i didnt really care to be honest. just for the hell of it i decided to fix and ran into a loose vacuum line. The loose line was the vacuum line that runs from the vacuum tank to the intake manifold. so i replugged the line onto the nipple on the far driver side of the intake mani, went for a drive to see if it works now. It works properly now but when i come to a stop the car dies. as soon as i pull the line back off it idles fine but no cruise control again. any ideas wtf its dying?

 

Any CEL codes? If not, reconnect the cc vacuum hose on the IM and then adjust the idle speed to spec using the procedure described in the service manual (see FAQs sticky).
