Default 97 accord ex crank sensor

So the car jumps in between shifts, slow pickup, and doesnt go over 75mph (not that i need to). narrowed it down to the crank sensor. how would i go about changing the sensor? whats required to get to it?

What testing did you do to come to that conclusion?

Is your check engine light on?

If it is indeed the CKP sensor you will have to replace both the TDC and CKP sensor as they come as one. Actually they are combined into one wire harness. They are mounted to the oil pump housing behind the crank pulley.

You need to remove the crank pulley and Lower timing belt cover. I'm pretty sure you'll have to remove the balance belt and drive gear as well. it's been a while since I had to do this and I am no were near my engine to verify.

I used a code reader at advance auto and my neighbors code reader. TDC came up. i assume this is whats causing the misfire aswell. and yes the light is on.
