Default 1994 Honda Accord

Hi there, I have a 1994 Honda Accord, and recently my D light started to flash from no where. I thought at first it could be my Speed Sensor, that is not the case. This is whats doing, I will start the Engine Specially in the morning and the D light will flush, and when I'm about to take of it will have a rough shift, and travels around 20-30 mph. Sometimes I will pull over and shut off the engine, and turn on back the D light is gone, it drives like a champ. I have just change the Solenoid, and I am thinking now it could be the TCU? please help me with thanks so much.

Thanks for your response, there is no code, or Engine Light on it. The D light will flash, turn off and turn back on its all good, and it is annoying the hell out of me.

Out of despreation I went to Mr. Transmission, and they told me that the problem is with the compute, and that will cost me about $770? Does it sound right? or is this something I can do for myself?

Thank you so much.

You can see if you can obtain a TCU you know is in working condition then swap it in.

IIRC, the flashes actually have a pattern and that is your trans fault code. If it is indeed the computer, you can probably buy/install one for much less than $770.

Yes, I went to a local junk yard today, and found one for $50. After I install the TCU the light stopped flashing, but when Im about to stop in a red light it flashes quickly and the car will jerk a little bit, thats something new I discovered today, do you know what does it mean?

Thanks.
