I don't remember what the payouts are normally for A/M, but I think the showdown class and M/S class payout 800-1000 for the winner and I think 400 for R/U.

 

ya MS and SD are usually 700-1000 and 1200ish

all motor classes are typically in the 400 ish. Its not a big payout show but the payouts do go up if the event count is a big success generally.

 

Might as well get inline for second in MS if that Alpha gtr shows up! :lol:

I am considering on making the trip over. Montgomery is on my calender already.

This a great event and very well run!

 

IFO never payed me 1350$$$ for winning a race.. payouts are pretty good at ISD in my opinion.. Heck I wont TX2K11 for the 6speed class and it was only 400$ <---weak sauce IMOP

looking forward to watching this race.. Wish my car was gonna make it but new baby in the house causes my cash flow to trickle.. hopefully i will make it in the fall..

I won IFO and then ISD last year at Montgomery and the payout was night and day. ISD pays out more.

Do they spray/prep the track in reynolds? Didn't seem like they do for any import events in Montgomery. I was off by .2 to .3 on my 60's.

 

What alpha GTR? There was a blue one last time running mid 9's, is that the one you mean?

I just looked at the past winners, did alot of cars break and thats why 10 and 11 sec cars won SFWD and All Motor Comp?

Yes, some broke.... I broke an oil pump doing a shakedown, but I caught it in time

 

Besides Spoolin making a couple 9sec passes and blown hatch I don't think anyone else in Ga is running 9s. And noone has ever ran a 9 at this race. in the MS fields.

 

6,000,000 people in the atlanta metro area and no one knows how to build anything except hella flush crap.

(2) 9 sec street class fwd cars so far
no 10 sec all motor cars

its quite annoying actually.

 

that will def change in a couple of weeks.

 

Quite sad actually. The GTR is running M/S and went 9.54 the other day. I went consistent 6.25/6.30s in the 1/8th testing there and hope to have the big end figured out to give that GTR a run for his money.

 

thats so true.. I don't understand why there are is not a fast import group outta ATL its weird that Alabama has more import racers than GA.. I have wondered this for years..
