I'm in the process of rebuilding a 1972 Honda CB750, it is going to be a very slow build; Since I'm in the process of paying off my 2000 SI and student loans. I'm truly here for the knowledge. As far as Honda's go i have put in my fair share of work swaps and overhauls so I at the very least have an idea about what I am doing; Motorcycles on the other hand are brand new to me. The main reason for this build is cause i love this bike, and I mean absolute love.

So that all being said, any advice would be great. I will post pictures as I go and get stuff built. My main questions are, where is a great place for parts, and on a budget is powder coating worth it?

There were taken the day i got the bike, in a dirty *** shed. That i have since clean up and have a lot more space. I've also almost got her down the the frame, the motor was pulled already before me. I bought her off of a friend of mine.

 

My advice is to do an original restoration and avoid the chopper/bobber/cafe racer trend.

 

**Update**

Well now she is just frame and front fork. I'm going to start getting parts soon. First will be the motor, the original was locked up. Once from there I just want to get her running, I don't give a damn if she is rusty. I also got a Ruckus, did some things to that; So this build went on hold.
