So My car wasn't starting. My mechanic said that it was most likely my main relay, He said those tend to go before the fuel pump. I bought a new relay, installed it, cranked it a few times and she started up. I decided to test it again so i took out the key, cranked it, and she started right up again. I let it idle for a bit and it just stopped. I tried it again and it wouldn't start. it sounded exactly like it did before I changed the relay. I waited a few hours and tried again, but no luck. What could be wrong?

 

I can hear the relay click but I dont hear the fuel pump.

 

How's your plugs and cable? If you suspected fuel, you need to check for fuel pressure at the regulator. Then if the pressure is good then check for sparks. We can't really help you without more details. How's the maintenance? Fuel filter?
