just like the title says. i got a '91 crx that is not running as of now, and my bro's '89 civ 4dr hood flew open and smash his windshield and bended the hood. my car is at a shop that's why i can't compare it.

No. the 4 door hood is longer.

 

not true....i took a hood off a 4 door civic and it fit fine on my and a friend of mine's CRXs.

Soo, yes the hoods from a 4 dr civic and a CRX are interchangeable.

 

It will fit with minor modifications but it will not just bolt-on and go. There are suttle differences between the two which make them not compatible, but it is possible without too much work.

Adding my $.02 now, I measured my old 91 EX sedan hood vs. my fiance's 89 CRX Si hood and external dimensions are the same, prob the only differences are the hood latch location, etc. GL

 

Well, they are NOT interchangable with the Hatchbacks.

and there would reason i believe it wont fit. I've seen kbslackers pics before and remember how badly it fit, and as far as i remember hatch and crx hoods were interchangable so if a 4dr hoood didnt fit right on a hatch why would it fit on a crx.

 

the hood off of my hatch went right onto my friend's crx. don't know on the 4 door.
