I have a b20 in an ek coupe. p8r head. this morning I drove the car about 1/4 mile and noticed a loss of power and a bit of a sputtering noise. I was low on gas so I refilled. Noise / power loss still there. The two center spark plug holes were partially filled with water. There was no overheating when I drove it. The water receded after 5 minutes in the two affected spark plug holes. The sparkplugs were normal besides the fact that they were partially submerged. Any ideas? Car was running fine up till today.

Have you washed your engine bay lately?

 

maybe a month ago.

 

probably leftover water from the wash..

if it still runs fine, i would just get a rag and sop up the water and look for more in the future.
