SRS light blinking (paperclip trick)
My SRS light blinks repeatedly when I do the paperclip trick to pull codes on my 95 EX.
I counted up to about 60 blinks before figuring it's not going to stop.
Is this normal or is it throwing some kind of code?
Thanks!

thing is, it seemed like steady blinking and didn't seem like it was going to end..
like I said i counted to like 50 or 60 before giving up
ALSO, the SRS light is not lit when driving.

Jumped the two wire to verify base timing before smog test and the SRS light was just flashing rapidly. Or is there some funkadelic way of reading SRS codes? The SRS light is not normally on or ever flashing, just the typical Turn to on and all the dash lights come on like it's Christmas.
FWIW the car was nerf'd in the *** a few years back requiring a new decklid, but no other damage AFAICT.
Short or long flashes?
Yes, reading the SRS codes is a bit tricky.
You get "bulb" check time - light on.
Then ~2 sec, off.
Then the fun. If there is a code, you get the main code first (long flash ~1.2 sec), then the secondary code after ~ 2 seconds off, these are short flashes (~.3 sec).
System normal....you get short flashes after the bulb check and two seconds of being off.
If you want more, PM me an e-mail address and I can send a scaned page(s) from the FSM....don't have a pdf, just the old paper book

Well a .3 second flash is pretty quick
So based upon that, there are no codes and system is normal. Again a .3 second flash, with a .3 second "off", over, over, over, over and over means there is no code.
