Im new to this forum and after this won't be posting at all, so if a few knowledgeable souls can help me now that would be much appreciated.

I'm installing D2 Coilovers on a friends 06 Type-S this coming weekend. She got them from a local guy who had them on his gull-wing doored, 2-tone paintjobbed 2002 RSX base. He was also on room-raiders..not hating but you can see what I'm getting at...

I know the split year for these vehicles is between 04 and 05. What is the difference between design and geometry? (I.E. Can I run the coils from the 02 on her 06)? If mild modification is needed its not a big deal.

The deal is that the 02-24 have the actual coil spring reverse rotation than the newer 05-design. So you can not just swap springs.

If you are installing a full coil-over, spring, coil and seat mounts, than it can be used in any 02-06 model DC5

 

as long as it's the full coilover assembly it will fit

 

nailed it perfectly

 

and that is y those springs dont fit -.-
