Default SFWD RSX BUILD

After years of wanting to build a drag car the chance has finally come, the build is kind of slow but its moving and hope to have the car on the track come next year. The build is based of a rsx-s and my goal is to run low 10.XX and this is what I have done so far.

*turbo kit
FR manifold T3 twin 44mm
6765 JB
custom intercooler 22x12x4.5
3 inch piping hot and cold

*engine
erl sleeved 2.1
cp 9:1
Carrillo pro h
pp head with ferrea valve train
k24 rockers
1/2 head studs
bc stg 2 N/A cams
s2k oil pump

*fuel system
ID2000
twin 044
-10 feed
-8 return

*drive train
ppg dog box 1-4
quaife lsd
exedy twin disk
dss 3.9

car with the old setup

taking out the old block to put in the erl sleeved block

adding the second 44mm to help control the 6767

all done

exedy twin disk

got the motor back in and ready to start welding up the ic

12x24x4.5 ic

alum trunk floor to hold the new surge tank and battery box

new surge tank

your right
1:5 FUEL SYSTEMS
Location: All fuel tanks, lines, pumps, valves, etc. must be outside
of the driver’s compartment and within the confines of the frame
and/or steel body

I find some of these rules funny. This guys fuel system may not be legal for NHRA, but this guys fuel system was legal.

I could be completely wrong, but the left side of the container looks to be a fuel tank and the right side appears to be the water/ice reservoir.

i just did some quick research and all i would have to do is enclose the swirl pot in a box or make a bulk head of some sort like this
