ok I recently got a non running 91 crx hf. I got it running now but im having issues with timing. The timing light is telling me its timed right but when it warms up it wants to idle at 5-600 rpm then die.
d16a6: head, dizzy, ecu
d15b: block
no cel codes.
I recently got a y8 cam gear because of the whole deck hight thing, but I can get it timed with the a6 cam gear. also if I advance the cam gear one notch it runs when its warm but idles at 1200 rpm and the exhaust smells rich in both cases.

any ideas?

 

edited, i put an extra zero on the idle rpm, its idle is at 5-600 rpm not 5-6000.

 

u got a vacume problem or a possible iacv u can only set timing once its at opp temp aftr cooling fan comes on atleast once! follow the procedure to set the iacv and idle air skrew right thn check timing
