Which Brake calipers 1990 Accord
took me less than a minute to look it up... (i used autozone.com)
if you VIN # starts with a 1, USA model
if you VIN # starts with a J, Japan model
weird though that the pics look similar; the Jap model on that site has an extra brake pad spring
& the sliding caliper pins have a 2-piece bolt on the Jap model vs. the 1 sliding caliper pin/bolt of USA model
------------------------------------------------------------
cross reference to rockauto.com from comparing pix:
USA model = Akebono
Japan model = Nissin
someone else can confirm that if you're going with the rockauto.com site???

thanks for the confirmation Touring Accord...
bad dude, already confirmed it... easier to just look at the dash / windshield area and see if it's a 1 or J

If the car is bought used, some times the previous owner might need to replace the calipers and they might change brand from what ever is available and not match that of VIN number read. This happens to my friend's 91. So I think it's always better to look in behind the wheels.

Ah ha!! Usually the sedans get Akenobo, but in your case it's Nissin, the coupes get Nissin, not sure about the wagons. If you have rear disc, then all are Nissin.
Bad dude, I'm pretty sure the pic ricebike posted was from the FAQ sticky, not from their own car.
IIRC, the FAQ link states that all rear calipers are made by Nissin but just because you have rear calipers doesn't mean your front calipers are by Nissin also.
