Default 5th Gen Lights

Ok. This might be a dumb question, but I have done a lot of searching and haven't found what I am looking for yet. Does anyone know if there are headlights with the black housing for the 5th Gen Lude? And if so, where can I find them? Any info is greatly appreciated.

I've seen people paint them before. But that was on hondaprelude.com.

I know that you can buy the black housing headlights for the Fourth Gen Ludes, but I have yet to see them for the Fifth Gen. How hard is it to paint them? Do you know anyone who has done it and it been successful?

Check back for the pics, his image hosting might be down.

Now its your turn to answer my secondary VTEC question.

This is a painting your head light husing thread not a Prelude is a pig and RY8172 wants a more agile car thread.

BTW GSRRRRRigl or what ever the hell her name is says you don't need a apex vtec controller. I think so that is if we were talking about the same thing.

BTW the girl who's asking how to paint their lights, just taking a big *** spray can to the head lights.

I really wasn't asking about painting them. The original question was whether or not they make the black housed headlights for the 5th gen lude. I would rather the headlights be top quality and not half-assed painted. Abd if for some reason I do have to paint them, they will never in this world be pink, nor will anything on the car.

no one makes blacks housing hedalight for a 5th gen, i am assuming you want the played out JDM style BS, well, don't even worry about it, b/c the housing on a 5th gen's headlight are realy narrow, and if you bought black housing headlights, it wouldn't be noticeable. the stock headlight already have a dark greyish color to them. if you want "JDM" just tell everyone you have JDM headlights anyways, b/c they are the same.

If you're gonna mess with the 5th gen lighting, I suggest doing an HID conversion, then it will be worth the time and money spent

Where did you find it? How much did it cost? And you are going to be the one to do all of it, right?
