Default 95 accord 1.5" drop with 17" wheels?

Alright, I have a 1.5" drop on my 95 accord. Atm it's sitting on stock 14" wheels and i'm looking to get soem 17x8.5 or 17x9's but I want to know if i'm going to have to drop it more to make it look good with the 17's. Anybody got pics of 17's on their accords with soemwhat close to a 1.5" drop? just trying to get an idea

My sons accord (96 EX) has a 2" drop with 17's. Tires are 215/45/17. It looks awesome and has about 1/2 gap above the tires.

You can size the hieght of your tires to what you want to fill the gap as long as you are careful about rub.

8.5" or 9"?

I foresee rubbing issues in your future.

Most people don't measure their drop like that unless they bought springs that specified it. I have no idea how far my car is lowered compared to a stock one. A picture of what your car looks like with a '1.5" drop' would probably help your cause.

Very nice! That's exactly what I was looking for, I wanted to make sure the 17's didn't put it up too much higher to make the car look all akward and be in need of more lowering. I will be in search of a set this summer! and super clean car by the way

Its not a bad way to go, there is just better ways to go. you will have a sub-par ride if you get lowering spring on your stock shock. The best way to go if you want to have springs is to get coilovers. They are more expensive but it is a much more comfortable ride.

Yeah you'll be good with that. I actually was forced to remove my caps just the other day because they came unbolted while i was driving, which ripped it to hell.
