What is the Fastest 1/4 Time for the 8th Gen, Stock with bolt-ons?
I'm inquiring to see if anyone would know, or have a round about idea of what is in fact, the fastest time for a 8th Gen Civic(2011 civic si). With just bolt-ons.
Last night we were track tuning my best friend/customer's Civic. While he was getting used to the car, we were constantly messing with everything, the car got progressively faster through out the night, even though, we were hot lapping.
The car is a full interior, stock 17'' rim, stock tire. AEM Intake, Skunk2 Header, and a skunk2 exhaust. I tuned the car on flash pro. The got about 4 passes back to back before we would let it cool down, on manifold and intake. Because our main goal was for him to learn his car. How to burn out, how to preload, how to launch, etc etc.
Total passes though out the night were 15-18.
Fastest past of the night is attached.
The car constantly trapped 98-99. Also backed up the time with a 14.1@99.8
and a 14.2@99.5
We fiddled with launch control ALOT, the car seemed to cut its best 60' with a 4700 launch control. 2.2 was the best of the night, 2.3 was pretty much the constant though. We've already discussed about a smaller rim and tire setup, possible drag radials or a all out slick.
Overall i was very impressed with the car for just simple bolt-ons. Just wanted to share.
