Hello, can someone tell me the correct position the gear should be against the circuit?

I have a EF7 and this is from the auto air con that pulls the cable that goes through the firewall to adjust hot/cold air valve.

I have had my car looked at multiple times so and didnt take it apart until recently so I do not know if the copper conductors are even in the right position since I do not know what the shops did.

I know at least one copper piece must be in the 12 o clock position as its the only one that causes the gear to turn. I just dont know where the other copper piece should be:
