LC-1 DB guage wiring question.
Hey guys,
So I just got done splicing, soldering, heat shrinking and wrapping all the connections for my LC-1 Into my OBD1 jumper harness.. Then to my dismay I read in the DB gauge install guide it recommends you ground the DB gauge to the same place you grounded the LC-1...
So this leads to my question of is it really that big of an issue if I don't ground it to the same location as the LC-1. I understand that grounding it at the same location would be the most preferred but I couldn't see it making that huge of a deal.
I'm going to be using the Wideband analog output into my ECU to tune with the gauge will be configured to display wideband A/F but I'm not going to be relying on it to tune or anything more just to have a overview of the engine's operation while DailyDriving.
let me know what you guys think...

Decided to update just so others know, I grounded the gauge to the dash reinforcement bar, sanded area and used lug with ground wire soldered to it.
The gauge reads dead on with the LC-1 which is grounded to the Ecu system ground going into the ecu.
