how do i read NGK nomenclature?

how do i read NGK nomenclature?

the stock plugs are CR8EH-9

I'm looking at getting a colder plug. Learn me!

I can't remember how to read the numbers, but I know in relation to hotter and colder NGK is backwards from everyone else.
