I have a new turbo build. I haven't done much more than start the engine. the scavenge pump sounds funny to me but I'm no expert. when the key is turned you can hear the pump turn on for a sec. right after the engine starts listen for that same sound and how it changes. what you don't see in the video is the sound smoothing out when the revs start to come up.

Sounds ok to me. Mine is a lot louder than that.
