Default Mpfi swap help

Ok so I have a 91 civic hatch dx that I want to switch to mpfi. Ive read alot on here and other sites that I need parts (throttle cable ecu distributor etc.) from an 88-91 civic/crx si. But down the road Im going to swap a b18b1 and ive read (also on here) that to do the swap I would need the same parts (throttle cable dist. Ecu etc.) from an integra so why would I buy all the parts from an si to go mpfi then later on buy all the same parts again from an integra to do the swap or should I just buy everything all together instead of going mpfi now then a year or so later do the engine swap.
Sorry if this sounds dumb I just wanna make sure I dont spend double the money on parts I wont need.

Your car needs to be mpfi in the first place to swap a b18 in. So unless you want to buy all the parts when you swap the b18 and do both the mpfi conversion and the b18 swap which would be a huge pain in my opinion, I would go mpfi now. You need the intake and throttle body from an ef si, resistor box, ecu, and dizzy.

Most of my kit came with the car wen i got it but the rest of the parts i needed i just got from the junk yardmake sure you get the harness for a si to cuz u will need some plugs from it and it will make it easyer in the long run. On avrage most people spend between 150-250$ for all the parts but u can also check the for sale adds here sometime people are selling full swaps

I spent about $20 total on mine.. The easiest thing is to get a complete si im so your not looking for random sensors.. You need that the tb throttle cable Ecu resistor box and injector plugs
