Hello everyone i havent been here in a long time and this ? has prob been answered a couple time but i cant seem to find it and i not to familiar with the h series ive just done a ton of B and D cars and builds.

Ok so my buddy just got a cb7 and is going all out and he just got a h23a blue top from this past honda day. Lol to make a long story short he wants to get a h22 skunk2 IM for it and we are not sure if it will fit. But i know the h22 heads and IM casting # is p13 and i just looked on the h23a head and IM and the casting # is also a p13 so dosent that mean the IM bolts pattern should be the same.

If someone could let me know that would be great. Thanks

 

As far as I know there is little to no aftermarket intake manifold support for the F22/H23 flange.

 

Even tho the h23a head looks exactly like the h22 head

 

And that's why I sold my old Prelude. No aftermarket for it.

 

The h23a we got for the accord come out of the jdm Accord Wagon SiR, and Awd. Its is a dohc vtec not a non vtec and i has 197hp and 163 Torque so has a pretty good amount of power for stock.

I took the IM off it today and went to the parts store and had them pull a h22 IM gasket and when i put it up the the H23a IM is was a perfect match.

So if anyone needs to know if a h22 IM will fit on a H23A head so you can put a After Market h22 IM on it the answer is YES!! it will fit.

I was speaking more to the lack of support and not to the fitment question.
