how much hp can a stock auto teg tranny handle? people are turbo charging their auto tegs, and are leaving their tranny's stock.

 

also does ne one with an auto teg experience a shift lag when the gear shifts from 3rd to 4th going around 100mph? On my car when it is almost about to hit redline on 3rd the rpm needle sinks back to 6.5, then works its way up to 6.9, then changes gears. Is the gov. chip? or is it my tranny? thanx.

 

what is the top speed everyone hit on their tegs?

 

I never had a problem like this with my auto. You may want to check your fluid level, and/or replace it.

I got my auto LS up to 120 or so.
