How Do i get into auto x-ing?
hi ya'll, i know that this question's been asked several times before but i didn't know what to search. well, my car is pretty much bone stock. i've always wanted to get into auto x-ing for fun but never really had the guts to give it a shot. well, my turbo is in the works right now but afraid that it'll bump me to a higher class which i can't handle. i just want to track the car the way it is right now until i improve. i'm in the metro los angeles area and would you guys know of any tracks around where i'm at? any guidelines? thanx
edit: how bout some links where i can gain some info?

The SCCA has regions. You can get your region from the http://www.scca.org site.
http://www.solo2.org also has some info but its a lot of st.louis info. There are a lot of nice people at these events so don't be intimidated about just going up to someone and asking questions.
