recently ran intro tranny issues and car cutting off...when I did an exam under the hood i notice tranny fluid sprayed all over the are where this hose is pointing.I noticed it was not connected to anything at all.....

this is a similar image to what im looking at....the hose on my car is the one thats clipped in the picture towards the lower middle of this tranny in the photo

A pic of your actual issue might help. That "pipe" is one of the trans cooler lines. If it is trans fluid, then there is a leak, but without seeing the car I can't say if the pipe, hose, fitting or something else is causing the leak.

 

and one of those hoses tubes w/e you wanna call them is a breather hose as well
