Default Neutral Safety Switch w/ auto to trans swap?

I have a 94 prelude that has a h22a1 swapped into it, it used to be a auto, but was converted to a 5spd. The car starts fine and all, but I need a neutral safety switch that'll work, so I can't start the car while it's in gear. I need that so I can pass inspection (car came from north carolina and I'm in Virginia... any help? Ive already searched btw.

Should I just go get the neutral safety switch for my model, but 5spd?

That is the correct part for a 5 speed, majestic Honda lists $34 new. You'll also need #20, pedal stopper too. Not sure how you'd wire it into an auto car though, never done a auto to 5 speed swap, from what I see most people bypass it but in your case you can't.

It's already bypassed, as I can start the car without pressing the clutch. I just need it so it'll only start while in neutral. So I can pass inspection(Va). Thanks, I'll look into it tomorrow and see what's done to it currently.

I might also trying to get it passed without.

You would need too look at a schematic and find the starter solenoid wire coming off the ignition switch. cut it and add the clutch switch into the circuit. pretty simple really.

Somebody needs to sticky this picture and color in #20. I see so many posts: "OMG!!! My car won't start anymore!!" So many times, it's that cheap plastic #20 that breaks, which means that the safety neutral switch never tells the ECU to let the car start. LOL. common problem on A L O T of cars...
